7
7 - felt like an actual game I’d play on steam - seemed unfinished
The artstyle is nice and I do like the animation at the beginning of the game. I do find it funny that the player character is given a gun.
Night at the Carny (so many similar names) is amazing with good functions and graphics. I love that the game has audio and effects in it. The game itself shows a lot of passion done within the game and good team work too. Love the cutscene. But I did find some bugs and glitches in the game. When the player falls off the crates, the player will begin to get stuck in mid-air and start bugging out. If you stay for too long, then the controls will glitch and won’t let you move any other way except right.
Beautifully done art. The cutscene and title screen were amazing. I like the story it portrays. The switching between gun and flower was tricky and they’d get stuck. The ending was abrupt.
Game 7 was extremely thought out and you can easily tell there was a lot of effort put into it. It has a nice gaming experience. Nothing was confusing and it was very clear. There were bugs where you could walk through the enemies without taking damage or anything happening. The game could be improved by fixing the enemies. Other than that there isn’t really anything wrong with the game.
The graphics are so cute! Turnip having just a regular gun is quite silly. His arm breaks when you try to aim left. Jumping with the gun gives him 3 arms. Unfortunately, the game is very short.
I like the art, along with the story of the game, one thing I would change would be the controls a slight amount. It feels like the character moves a little too fast to control easily.
CUTSCENE IS HELLA COOL! The mechanic to switch between the water gun and the actual gun was awesome, the dialogue interactions are also awesome. Game was a bit short, but that’s understandable considering all the trouble the cutscene made.
This is because the game was fun and the cutscenes were amazing (art too) but as a suggestion, make the gun and flower switch the numbers and not the ctrl and alt key.
The game is fun and easy to play once you figure out how to put out the fire and the artwork is very good and the story is interesting.
This art is very very beautiful and cute. I wish they made more of it though ‘cause the ending is pretty lackluster.
The art is amazing and the cutscene at the start is also amazing. However gameplay lacks functionality and I kept dying to the fire at the beginning. I would recommend getting a programmer on the team.
good story, controls messed up a bit, good art, nice cutscenes, instructions a bit unclear
Change the controls for swapping weapons otherwise good game
Not going to lie I sucked at it but it was really fun with a fun art style to pair with it, no bug, just wish i was better.
The graphics are amazing! I love them and the character design is super cute. I don’t usually like cuter characters but I loved these because they are unique and had an interesting design! The story is very cute and I hope Big Brother survived. I think there could’ve been an ending cutscene or like him leaving and having a reunification with his brother! The controls were very confusing and I didn’t understand what I was supposed to do half the time but I was able to complete it still. Very fun! I don’t see any issue with the controls, backgrounds are very cute!
Veggie Carny - liked the animations, art, combat system, sudden switch up - didn’t like the beginning unskippable cutscene
10/10, fun mechanics between the gun and the flower, I LOVE THE ANIMATION, the production quality for this game is nuts, loved the characters and almost wept when Radish supposedly died. Would love to see more of them.
I loved the art and liked how they told a story.
Good animation but I don't know how to switch weapons or if there was a game to begin with.
This one wow you can tell a lot of love was put into this. From the style, to the cutscenes and the characters, I really enjoyed playing this. Though, the controls for swapping from the gun and water flower are not entirely clear and I would’ve loved it if this was longer.
The art for this game absolutely blew me away. The universe created for this game is amazing and feels so alive, from the character animations, backgrounds + details, the art just oozes with so much style and passion. Not to mention, the opening cutscene and dialogue, just amazing. Interesting conflict, however enemies do not deal damage to the protagonist.
This one looks amazing! I love that there’s a little cutscene. Though I think there might be something weird going on with the collision masks in this one, because I kept dying when I didn’t really touch the fire. Super cute though!
The game wasn't finished, it didn’t really have an ending. The art of the game was really great. I loved the little animation it had, so cue. The only thing I was confused about was how to switch from the water spray to the gun.
Hitboxes have the issue of being very large, causing most jumps to be super difficult. There was no indication of being able to shoot water to put out the fire, I only learned of that after Alliyah stumbled on it. Good Art/10
I wish I could skip the first part. First time I played it, I thought it was cute and fun, but the more I died, the more I hated to go through the start. Fun game towards the end. I didn’t know I could shoot the fires to put them out. Also, what happened to the brother? 🙁
The art is very impressive for this game, but there is no text telling the player what to do. The life system works, but it’s very difficult to understand when you lose a life, unless you’re constantly watching your lives.
Game takes a long time to load but it starts off promising, this game actually has an art style. The first part is good, the sounds and the mechanics are good. The second part however is very disappointing where there’s a glitch where you can only switch your item once and also the enemies don’t hurt you. Also some animations are not playing like climbing on a ladder.
I love the beginning animation in the beginning of game 7, but it gets a bit repetitive when you die and have to rewatch it. Also, if you walk towards a wall, the character animation messes up. I really like the art though.
Super detailed and smooth art, but has bugs that players won’t die on the second map.
