3
3 - cool art and animations - lacking an ending (?)
I like the wall jump mechanic, however it was not mentioned. When I defeated all of the clowns the game went straight back to the start so I can only assume that that was the win condition. The death screen looks cool too.
Good graphics but there are bugs and glitches on the game. More of a dlc type of game than an actual full game but points for them for trying because the struggle is real.
The movement was a little lofty and it was unclear where to go. But I like the characters and easter eggs.
Game 3 was very scenic and had multiple areas of game play. It was confusing though because there was no instruction on where to go and there were multiple levels that could easily be overlooked. There weren’t really any bugs. The game could have been improved with more instructions on what is going on and what you are supposed to do.
I liked the art of the game, however I did not know how to get into the red door after some platforming. I wish there was more game mechanics.
Confused on where to go, I need instructions. When I finally made it to where I needed to go I didn’t know how to open the door. The last section lacks an ending
Didn’t really see what I was meant to do, and I was kinda lost. Then again, I did hear that this team lost their data 2 days before it was due. No ending too which is a bummer.
This is because the game was mostly empty and once you finally figured out to go parkour up, the controls did not really sync with each other. No bugs on the brightside though
I like the background a lot and the game is fun but I don’t like how there are no controls and I felt lost while I was playing because I had no indication of where to go.
It’s very barebones for dure but I can see the vision.
The art looks very nice but the gameplay is very rough. I would recommend acquiring a skilled programmer on the team or at least someone who is familiar enough with GDevelop.
Maludion Perpetual Clown: really nice sprites, cool wall jump, nice hidden dialogue, not clear on what to do, bad instruction
The graphics were cute, but everything else I feel needs some work. I couldn’t figure out how to open the first door (if it's even possible to do so), and the floaty gravity mechanics felt kinda weird. There wasn’t much to do, but the code seems polished enough.
The game is not bad but it is confusing on what you are supposed to do.
I’m really confuse for the most part I had no idea what I was doing and was lost for a bit, I really like the art and everything seemed to work. If anything I would want a hint so that I know how to do something.
THE SPRITES ARE AWESOME I LOVE THE RUNNING ANIMATION! I can’t get past the first levels and it took me a long time to understand how to open the door. I wish there were controls, in the end a very fun game and super unique. Very appreciative of the effort!
Perpetual Clown - liked the platforming/character animation - can’t say, i couldn’t open the door to continue the game
Little confused, doesn’t seem like there's a lot of content, can't really figure out where I’m supposed to go but I do quite like the clown animations.
Sound effects could of been added but i like the background art
is so good and the gameplay is simple but fun.
I can walk and jump off an invisible wall so the game has some bugs. I also have no clue what I am trying to do.
Man the art styles get cuter and cuter as I go through these, but with this one I really enjoy the backgrounds. Though, it feels like it’s missing something? It’s not entirely clear what I’m supposed to do in this one.
The art really stands out in this game, the character sprites are really cool and fluid. The painted backgrounds are also really sick, entire game just needs a bit more development
the visuals are amazing and really impressive, but I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do in this one. There aren’t really any directions.
This game is cool with its different color art in the background. The character themself is cool and interesting with its little crying motion it makes. There is no sound to the game itself so that sucks. The thing that confused me was that I could really figure out how to open the red door to get to the next level.
Pretty fun, the movement of the platformer is a bit floaty. OOBExploit/10
I don’t understand the goal of the game, I saw a red door, and a suicidal clown. Although I do like the character design and animations. I disliked the gravity, it was a bit slow falling down.
The game has great art, but it’s lacking in features or direction. It lacks any objectives and anything telling the player what to do or where they need to go.
The game seems unfinished, there's no enemies or tutorial, it looks like a demo level to test the game mechanics. The character art and animations are nice but the transitions are kinda off and the character jumps like he’s on the moon and the unalive job was very unfunny.
backgrounds were really nice, and I like the character. My only problem with it is that it has no directions that would tell the player what to do.
I'm a little bit confused about where I should go and what I should do. I like the art style of the background.
