You know that if you are mentally in a bad way or just not feeling it right now, there are people at CART who want to make sure that you are okay (myself included). I am not good at that sort of conversation but there is a peer support group here. If you want, you should check them out. See Mrs Chandler for more info.
We are switching pro-dress this week to Friday for the College and Career Fair
Start off the day with a warm-up
Tell me about your best day or scariest day ever!
What were you doing? Who were you with? Why does it stick out in your mind?
If nothing comes to mind, make something up and let me know at the end.
**remember, I am a mandated reporter so be smart about what you share**

It was the actual worst day of my life. My neighbor had their backyard sprinkler settings wrong and they were flooding my backyard every time the watered the lawn. My don was alone in the backyard playing and he came in the house with some mushrooms in his hand. I asked him if he had eaten any and he said yes. I called poison control and they told me they will call the hospital for me and to go directly there.
I thought my kid was going to die.
With terror and grief filling my entire body I sped off to Clovis Community where they had a doctor waiting for if. They had to force feed him this charcoal liquid to neutralize the mushroom if there was any poison. He was screaming in pain and fighting with every ounce of strength he has, My heart was broken. Eventually he just gave up and started dringing the charcoal fluid. I had never seen a human completely give up before that. I felt scared, guilty and as sad as I had ever been.
Fortunately everything turned out okay although I did have to battle my neighbor to fix his sprinklers.
