12
12 - I WON - simple but kinda long game
The gameplay was simple, but I feel like the player could just run straight left in order to beat the game, then climb the ferris wheel.
Night at the Carnival is a good functional game, glitches in the jumping key, but it works out in the game. Good sound effects and simple designs. I love the ending.
Excellent nerf gun. I like the churros and sliding animation. Would’ve benefited with a few-hit system instead of one-hit-restart.
Game 12 is really cute and I love the gameplay. Especially the idea of a nerf gun. It wasn’t confusing at all and just overall was amazing. There weren’t any bugs that I was aware of. It was super straightforward. The game could be improved by increasing the enemy count.
Graphics and gameplay are good. Could turn down how fast you can fire nerf darts.
I like the different styles of clown that the artist uses, I also like the different items around the map. The one bad thing is the smoothing of the textures on GDevelop.
cool cover page, good art, very lacking in any real threats. Nerf gun was cool though.
This is because the game is fully fleshed out but it is not entertaining. Art was great and had no bugs, but it was pretty boring.
The game looks good and the controls are easy to learn.
It’s not bad. Nothing to really really write home about, just wish there was actually a ferris wheel.
Character doesn’t flip when moving from right to left. Art has smoothing enabled which makes it look very blurry. Gameplay is ok.
cool nerf gun, clowns are really cool, churro health is awesome
The graphics are very polished, I like all the background objects and sprites for the character. Code doesn’t seem to be lagging.
Good game :)
I liked the game and the shooting in it just felt really easy for a game and i just scammed the gun to shoot everything.
Very fun! Easy and understandable even without controls. I love all the details and having to figure out you needed to climb the ferris wheel. Super unique and fun. I loved the man on stilts the most. I didn’t find any bugs.
night at the carnival - liked the art and enemy gameplay - didn’t like the lack of direction/where you’re supposed to go
Pretty alright, the character doesn’t turn when walking so it’s perpetually looking the wrong way, doesn’t seem like much more than a walk and shoot, so no complaints or praises.
Just a hold left and shoot and the poles being ladders could have been convened better.
The game was pretty nice, nothing that really stood out to me as a big criticism or a large praise, but overall it was a nice game.
The environments and environmental elements really stand out in this game, really detailed and charming. The weapon being a nerf gun is also really sick, could be improved by adding more obstacles, letting the player more jump off and climb more platforms to move around and defeat enemies more dynamically.
Really good artstyle and straight forward objective. It was really well done. I just couldn’t figure out how to get to the top to grab the rest of the dollars. Other than that, good game.
This game is good, me and Abby’s game. The thing we could have done better is figure out how to respawn the clowns throughout the game. Also we could have added sound throughout the whole game.
Sometimes die for zero reason, otherwise pretty good.
I liked the game, it was kinda hard to navigate the map, but I loved how you had to go back to the ferris wheel to climb it. Simple game, it was easy, the art was good, I loved the nerf guns, and the enemies were creative.
The art for the game is well done. The game play is a little difficult to understand, and there are some items which seem inaccessible for the player. It’s also unclear which items you can or can’t walk/jump on.
The game is functional and works well, the art style is okay. The shooting is spammable and the platforming has nothing much.
My favorite part of the game is the fact that the character uses a nerf gun. I wish there was more to it, but I like it either way.
overall is a fun game and the art is great. Also they forgot to make the moving animation to flip horizontally when walking forward left.
