9/17
Turning in your project
Delete all the extra games in your worlds folder so only your game is there
Rename your SMBX folder
Add your complete folder (the entire renamed SMBX folder) into DELAROSA DROPOFF
Turn in your hand drawn level with everyone's name on it
What's happening today...
The purpose of your presentation is to pitch your game and explain what you did... It is NOT a time where you can work out your new stand up comedy material. This is still a class, not the Improv (although I have toyed with the idea of trying to do some stand up myself but still NOT in class)
You projects are DUE TODAY
English last hour
Start off the day with the warm-up
No Warm-up, get to work
What are you learning?
Presentation Skills
Why is it important?
A game developer may need to pitch a game to a publisher to get the green light to produce the game.
How do you show that you understand? What is the assignment?
Today you will work on a google slides to create a presentation on pitching/presenting your game. You will present on Wednesday
You will need to:
Introduce yourself
Explain overall what you were required to do, including software used
Present the artwork for your game
Talk about the process… step by step, what did you do?
Reflect on successes and challenges you had making your world
Demonstrate your game
Conclude the presentation in a thoughtful manner.
