Start your day with a Warm-up
Write a story as your favorite video game character.
Strike I say! I need to go on strike!!! These scoundrels at Nintendo have been working me like a beast of burden. Golf, Punch Ball, Tennis, Pinball, Donkey Kong, Wrecking Crew, Baseball, Tetris, Qix Dr Mario, Punch Out, F1 Race, Yoshi, Mario the Juggler, Mario Teaches Typing, Mario Cart, Mario Paint and that’s just from 1984 to 1992! I have been in 279 games since 1985! It all started in 1981 when I arrived in the original Donkey Kong Arcade Game. Of course it was great and I was destined to be a legend when my dad Shigero Miyamoto dreamed me up so long ago. They quickly ported the game to a watch, the Atari 2600, Intellivision and Colecovision consoles the following year and then the floodgates opened. It was Mario this and Mario that. I basically abandoned my job as a plumber so that I could battle Donkey Kong, my brother, play pinball, ref boxing, teach typing, be a doctor, race, paint and anything else these guys at Nintendo could think of having me do. It has been exhausting and the pay is not impressive. Seriously folks, how many more times can you go to the well before it runs dry… I am dry. Let me rest, recharge and power up! A fireflower at least?!?!?

PROJECT IS DUE Today end of class

Straight Ahead – We are animating each frame one after the other to get to a finishing point
In frame 1, create a simple pot them duplicate the frame

In frame 2, add a little green (we are going to have a flower grow.

Repeate these steps to make the plant look like it is growing

Pose To Pose – Create the first and last frame then fill in the rest so you don’t run out of room at the end
I am going to animate the word POSE
In my first frame, I am going to create a P and then create a new Frame

With my onion selected I am going to create an E on the second Frame. Make sure they are the same size and then create a new Frame

I am going to move my third Frame into the Second Frame Position so that I can see the P and E. I am doing this so that I can make my O in Pose while still leaving room for the S. Once you have finished, add a new frame after the O so that you can see the O and E then make the S

Add your S
